2010/11 Catalog Unveiling: July 15th 7:00pm


Come see the new catalog and some fun new products! We’ll make one project using some new products and spend the rest of the time “oohing and ahhing” over the new ideas and merchandise. Cost to attend is $5 which includes your own catalog, one make-and- and take project, and access to retired and handmade items that I’ll have for sale.

Scrap Studio: July 29th 6:30-9:00pm

Just bring your photos and your adhesive of choice and I will help you design customized scrapbook pages. You will have full access to all of my tools (Cricut, Big Shot, stamps, inks, papers, ribbons, and accessories) and my ideas and design expertise to create beautiful scrapbook layouts just for you! Leave my studio with completed pages ready to insert into your scrapbook and display for family and friends. Four Spots available for Scrap Studio Sessions.

• Minimum fee: $16.00 includes up to 2, 2- page layouts (4 12x12 pages total)

• Additional 2-page layouts: $8.00

• Adhesive Fee (if don't bring own): $1.00 per 2-page layout

• Premade layouts will also be available for quick assembly, ranging from $5-$10.

• Design/Tools Only Option: If you already have your own supplies that you want to use, but want to come to the Scrap Studio and still get my design service and use my tools - $10 fee per session.

June Events

Card Studio - Friday, June 18th 12:30-3:00pm - Come make a stack of beautiful cards to suit your specific needs. You will have full access to all of my tools (Cricut, Big Shot, Sewing Machine, stamps, inks, papers, ribbons, and accessories) along with my ideas, card samples, and design expertise to create all the cards you need for your life! Need to make some invitations, birth announcements, or cards for a variety of occasions? Here's your chance! No need invest in all kinds of supplies and tools, use mine! Six spots available for Card Studio Classes. All you need to bring is your favorite adhesive.

• Minimum fee: $15 includes up to 8 standard size cards
• Additional cards : $1.50 each
• Adhesive charge for 8 cards (if don’t bring own): $2.00
• Design/Tools Only Option: If you already have your own supplies that you want to use, but want to come to the Scrap Studio and still get my design service and use my tools - $8 fee per session.

May Stamping and Scrapping Events

I'm going to be trying some new things with my classes over the next few months.  This month I'm opening up my design studio to my local customers for some Studio Days.  This month I'll be hosting a Scrap Studio day and a Card Studio Day.  At these events all my tools and supplies will be at your fingertips to get the projects that you want to create done!  Since these classes are only available during the daytime, children are welcome.  If you and your friends are interested in alternate days of the week or time of day, contact me to arrange a special studio session.

Crop for a Special Boy

I'm so excited to announce that I'll be hosting a Crop to benefit a local 8-year-old boy named Jacob Shell who is battling Neuroblastoma Cancer. So far the support for this little boy has been tremendous and I want to do more to ensure that this family is not stressed by the financial burden that this battle could cause. They have enough to be worried about.

So on July 18th, I'll be hosting a "Crafters Retreat for Jacob" at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glenville, NY. While I expect most of the attendees to be scrapbookers, I'm hoping that we'll have a variety of crafters taking part...stampers, quilters, beaders, and anyone else that needs table space, food, and creative company. We'll have raffle prizes, refreshments and a relaxing atmosphere so that all can enjoy their creativity while supporting a great cause.

The cost for the Retreat is $30 and it runs from 9am -5pm. Contact me if you'd like to participate or contribute in some way.

July Scrapbook Class/Kit: Summer Fun

I'm excited to offer these Summer themed scrapbook pages for my July Scrapbooking Class & Kits. This class will be held on July 1st at 6:30 in my craft studio. We will be making 6 scrapbook pages (2 complex and 1 simple double page layouts). July Events & Kits/Projects for Sale

Our Technique Club is taking a break for the month of July, so instead I'm scheduling a daytime card class for all those stampers that find it hard to get out at night. I'm also holding my monthly scrapbooking class, it's hard to believe I've been teaching scrapbooking classes now for over 3 years!

This month I'm also going to begin officially offering my classes as "kits". This way, those who don't live near me and those who just can't make it to the class can still make the projects. I will post pictures of the pages online so you will know what you are purchasing of course. If you are having your kit mailed to you, you can either send me a check or pay through Paypal. Just email me to order your kit and I will send you a Paypal invoice.

July 1 - Summer Fun Scrapbooking Class (6:30pm) - 3, double page layouts including 2 advanced layouts and 1 simple layout. Class includes all paper supplies and embellishments except adhesive. Class fee is $15. For those not attending, the following are available:

• Class Kit: Stamped, precut, unassembled kit for $15. Stamping does not include titles. $6 shipping fee.


• Finished Pages: Stamped, assembled pages available for $18. Stamping does not include titles. $6 shipping fee.

July 16th - Pun Fun Card Class (9:30am)- Make 5 adorable cards using the Stampin' Up! set "Pun Fun." - all supplies provided including envelopes. Class fee $10. This is a casual daytime event, and therefore children are welcome to attend. For those not attending, the following are available:

• Class Kit: Stamped, uncolored, unassembled kit $10. $3 shipping fee.


• Finished Cards: Stamped, colored, assembled cards $12. $3 shipping fee.

June Events

For all you local subscribers, here's an update on my upcoming events in June:

Tuesday, June 3rd (7pm) - Technique Class - This is our last technique club meeting for this session. We'll be making 3 projects and technique club members can attend this class for free. The class is open to non-members as well. If you place an order over $15, the class is free, otherwise there is a $7 class fee. This month's theme: techniques using reinkers including shaving cream.

Monday, June 9th (6:30pm) - Scrapbooking Class - We will be making 2, 2-page spreads and a set of coordinating page elements to create a 3rd layout when you get home. The class fee is $15 and all supplies are included except adhesive. A $5 class fee discount is given to attendees who order $25 or more. This month's themes include: Dinosaurs & Summer(pool/beach). Alternate stamps will be brought for those who don't want to use the dinosaur stamps.

Monday, June 16th (7pm) - Quick Inkers Meeting - This is a meeting of the Quick Inkers demonstrator group and anyone considering becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. This time we'll be doing a shoebox swap. Everyone attending will bring a project and the supplies for us all to duplicate it.
