June Scrapbooking

Last night I held my monthly scrapbooking night. It's been so hot here lately that it felt fantastic to spend a couple of hours in my basement scrapbooking and chatting. This month's pages were pretty simple, using dinosaur and summer/beach themes. I was so excited that this month I was actually able to put pictures in my pages before the class! The first layout uses pictures from our spring trip to Disney World's Animal Kingdom. My son Avery loves dinosaurs so it was fun to have some dinosaur pictures to scrapbook.
Stamps: Prehistoric Pals, Big Deal Alpha, Best Friends Lower Alpha
Inks: Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, Always Artichoke
Papers: Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, Always Artichoke, White, Summer Sun, Sahara Sand
Accessories: Circle Punches, Brass Brads, Ticket Corner Punch
This next layout is a "water" layout that can be used for any pool or beach pictures. It uses this flower printed rik-rak that I discovered last year when my local scrapbooking store was closing.
Stamps: Polka Dots & Petals, Best Friends Lower Alpha
Inks: Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise
Papers: Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery, Flowers for You DS, White
Accessories: Corner Rounder, Turquoise Flowered Rik-Rak, Double Sided Turquoise/Green May Arts Ribbon, Nestabilities Scalloped Circle Die
This last layout is a beach layout that I used for more photos from our Florida vacation. I don't have "beach" stamps, so I used some beach colors and floral images...so this could be used for lots of different kinds of pictures. I also used more flowered Rik-Rak in a different color.
Stamps: Best Friends Lower Alpha (letters & saffron flower images), Big Deal Alpha
Inks: So Saffron, Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue
Papers:So Saffron, Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue, Sahara Sand
Accessories: Smal and Large Circle Punches, Yellow flowered Rik-Rak, White Flower (Pretties Kit), Saffron Brads
Note: I made the brads look larger by putting a small sahara sand circle punchout underneath them.

Great pages Gretchen! I wish that I was there. I could use all of those pages.
