A punchy idea

I have to share this neat technique that I saw on my Mom's Christmas card which I received a couple of days ago. First of all, what a cute and fun card using that woven ribbon as photo corners and the silver star brad on top of the tree! As I looked closely at the card I realized that the red balls on the Christmas tree were not drawn on the tree. She punched holes in the tree to reveal the red cardstock underneath. Very creative idea! By doing this she ensured that all the ornaments are exactly the same size and are solid red (without green branches running through them)....a nice clean look. Great job Mom!

Wow! That ornament idea is absolutely brilliant! Thank you for sharing this idea. I will have to try and remember to try it out this weekend when I have time to stamp.
Have a fantastic evening!!
